The Bike Box Alan Original measures approximately 95 x 116 x 36cm. These dimensions include some slack, so if your airline charges by size rather than weight, you can use these figures as a guide (give or take a couple of centimetres). The average packed dimensions are around 80 x 90 x 30cm.

The Triathlon Aero EasyFit measures approximately 133 x 94 x 50cm. These dimensions include some slack, so if your airline charges by size rather than weight, you can use these figures as a guide (give or take a couple of centimetres).
The Easyfit box is around 20cm longer than the Original, and widens to 50cm at one end to accommodate the handlebars. It fits most cars, but you'll likely need to drop the rear seats. Worth factoring in if you're transporting multiple boxes or travelling with a full car.

A bike box or bike bag is considered an oversize or out-of-gauge bag.
You’ll need to check your bike in and then drop it off at the airport out-
of-gauge bag drop no later than:
- 3 hours (180 minutes) before departure on long haul

This will make it more likely that your bike will travel on the same flight
as you.
Let us know you’re bringing your bike as soon as you’ve booked your flight, let us know that you’re bringing your bike by using the online chat on our help page.

Please ensure your bike is clearly labelled with your details on the
outside and inside of its cover or box, preferably fastened to the bike
